Something worth protecting

I have never been one to wear an apron when cooking and/or cleaning. That is until now. What changed? I have a growing handmade wardrobe and something worth protecting.

I guess it wasn’t until I started sewing more everyday wear that this started to become apparent. I do hate that this means for years I have viewed my ready to wear cloths as not not worthy, disposable, replaceable. The number of t shirts that were ruined by that simmering tomato sauce or sizzling bacon are to numerous to mention and shameful to think about.

That end now. Ready to wear or not they are all deserving of protecting. It’s time to start sewing and grow the apron collection.
